My new toy

After talking about books, the pendulum is swinging the other way and I have to talk about my toy.

Not that I can say much as I only got it today and its still charging. πŸ™‚

I have been wanting a Tablet for a while, but having moved happily from an iPhone to Android based phone, was not fussed about heading back into Apple territory by getting an iPad – although I am happy to admit that they are awesome. This is a personal acquisition, although I will mainly be using it for my profession – in providing and receiving training and I am sure many more ways will arise for me to get good use out of it. πŸ™‚

For my birthday a month ago, I asked my family for contributions for me to get my first tablet and this is the result – my new Asus eee Transformer TF300 Pad.Β

After doing my homework, comparing models and options and reading lots of reviews, I decided on this one, for its price, features and its great write-ups.

I love that it can be a notebook, or with the slide of a button, it becomes a tablet.Β  It has an SD and USB port and 15 hours of battery life. A girl can’t ask for much more than that.

I will be giving it a good workout and madly adding apps over coming weeks, so I’ll keep you posted about what I think about my new toy.
